AUTOPOL II is a general automatic polarimeter. It is mainly used for budget focused contract laboratories, food laboratories and college chemistry laboratories. The device provides the same standard and features as the Autopol I. Their difference is that, Autopol II have a greater wavelength flexibility with 589 nm and 546 nm. An optional 365 nm, 405 nm, 436 nm, 578 nm, and 633 nm are available. Manufactured by Rudolph, they provide the same quality optics. Rudolph does not use the Polaroid Plastic Dichroic Sheet. It uses the same Glan Thompson Calcite Polarizers. The device consist of a built-in thermoprobe for measuring the temperature. A Perfect choice as an educational polarimeter.
