Plant studied for usage of brazing paste on pieces, composed with a flux of potassium fluoro alluminate and an AlSi (12%) alloy as well as an homogenization liquid composed by glycol and/or water.
The plant includes two furnaces in succession between them, the first of which is used for drying, in air, the liquid contained in the brazing paste, while the second executed brazing in two stages at different temperatures. In fact the first part of the brazing furnace is used for the heating of pieces, to make the temperature uniform in all the parts that compose them and the achievement of the flash point of flux. In the second part the melting of the brazing alloy takes place.
The two furnaces have separated conveyor belts, which are led individually in order to avoid the pollution of the brazing furnace and they are connected by a small transfer roller conveyor for transferring the pieces from one to another.
The second furnace can contain the protective atmosphere composed only by nitrogen.
