SAFE CHANGE FILTER HOUSINGS Canister safe change filter housings are used for the airtight housing of filters exposed to airflows containing substances that are harmful, toxic, radioactive etc. They are used primarily in industrial settings, laboratories, processing facilities and hospitals for critical wards such as infectious or nuclear medicine wards. Changing the spent filters (pre-filters, active carbon, absolute) is completely safe because they are handled and sealed whilst remaining inside a special protective bag, thus ensuring the safety of maintenance staff and the surrounding environment (Bag-In/Bag-Out procedure).
