The Marking on metal is impossible with traditional CO2 lasers. The IR wavelength – acronym for Infrared Ray, or infrared radiation is the wavelength of the most versatile light for laser processing. The typical feature of lasers with a wavelength of 1064 nm is to offer a wide range of processing applications from plastics to metals. The infrared spectrum being longer than 780 nm is not visible to the human eye.
