ESTERS Impact testers – SAITS301 SAITS305 SAITS306 Tubular Impact Tester is suitable for a wide range for impact tests and for many kinds of coatings, such as paint, varnish, water-based wood coatings, high viscosity plastic coatings and laminated coatings. It also can be used for impact experiments in building industry and to verify the penetration degree into different materials, such as plastic, resin, glass steel, metal sheet, plywood etc. Testing methods can be as follows: pass/fail test (that consists in a standard-weight hammer falling from a determined height to see if the test result complies with the normative or not) and grading test (that consists in gradually increasing the height and/or the mass of hammer to measure the minimum mass and/or height for which coating layer cracks or break from the substrate).
