The Sandvik DX700 crawler-based surface rig features hydraulic, self-propelled, and self-contained operation. The versatility, power and precision of the DX700 make it highly suitable for quarrying, construction and surface mining operation.
Capable of 12 hours of continuous drilling, it has a drilling coverage of 17.6 sq.m. An optional larger coverage of 26.4 sq.m is available. Its Rock Pilot drilling control system delivers straight holes with 45 or 51 mm drills producing 76 to 115 mm hole diameters.
