Horizontal Degerminator
MDH
The Horizontal Degerminator type MDH is the result of studies and researches carried out by Sangati Berga, bringing about a machine with superior features and qualities, so as to provide a finished product with a high performance degree. This machine has been designed for the production of pieces of green corn gruel and grits through a corn degermination process.
The machine is endowed with devices that allow adjusting precisely the amount of product entering the machine allied to the motor current, in order to guarantee maximum installed power yielding. At the machine outlet there is an adjustment valve on which traction springs act with adjusted tension, allowing thus the control of the product permanence time inside the machine, balancing properly the product flow and degermination quality. At the outlet of corn germen, there is a butterfly valve with graduated command, so as to enable the adjustment of the aspiration flow, according to the stated process features.
The Horizontal Degerminator MDH was properly sized to support the hard work generated over degermination operations, assuring thus a longer life cycle for all of its components and as well as a low maintenance cost. The machine rotor is made of a special cast iron alloy that is thermo-chemically treated in order to provide higher resistance to abrasion and longer life cycle. A set of reinforcements suitably projected ensure an appropriate and perfectly distributed support to the degermination mantle plates.
