Description

Ideal for Reflectance Measurements Wide Range Detection from 250 to 2400 nm Different Reflectivities for Diffuse Measurements Fused Silica for Specular Measurements Relative reflectance measurements calculate the proportional amount of reflected light from a sample against the amount of reflected light from a standard, which is assumed to have a reflectance of 100 %. For diffuse reflectance measurements, Sarspec offers a set of standards made of optical polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with 98%, 50% and 10% of reflectivity from 250 to 2500 nm. These standards are hydrophobic and chemically inert, therefore can be cleaned. Furthermore, these standards also offer a long-term stability, even in UV measurements. For specular reflectance measurements, Sarspec offers a fused silica substrate coated with Al-MgF2 for high specular reflectivity from 250 to 2500 nm.
