EXT I/O | External Signal Interface
The External Signal Interface is designed to permit the connectivity and interoperability of an external source with the printer for the purpose of regulating print actiivity to coincide with those external requirements (i.e.: production flow, etc.), such as an applicator or provide power to SATO external rewinder option.
A 14-pin External signal interface board provides signal interface and printer control (Start/Stop/Re-Print signals) and operational error conditions (paper end/ribbon end/online-offline/machine error) to/from the printer/host system, as well as signal reference voltages.
STANDARD 14-pin centronics: Lt408/S84xx Print Engine
OPTIONAL 14-pin centronics: GT4xxe, GL4xxe
OPTIONAL DB25-pin PCB: Lt408/S84xx, GT4xxe
