Schenk presents MAK universal balancing machine with a horizontal axis for correction of unbalance. The machine is very easy to handle, and requires very less space. It has various applications, such as MRO or maintenance, repair and overhaul. It can also be used in one-off or series manufacturing of rotating workpieces along with full assemblies.
The machine correction provides significant savings in time. The machine can be operated manually, and it also offers fully automatic unbalance correction. It has an expandable design, which can be adapted to suit the rotor design.
Direct correction of unbalance is enabled by MAK by drilling on the rotor wherever necessary. In the end face, it supports axial drilling and on the outside radius it supports radial drilling. A special software is provided to calculate drill correction as well as visually demonstrate the process of drilling.
The MAK system can be used on new systems, and it also supports upgrading of existing balancing systems.
