Bending precision is guaranteed by the parallel beam bending which automatically corrects the opposite deformations. The use of adjustable intermediates, applied to the upper beam, allows easy correction of possible beam deformations. Accurate centring and alignment of the beams are guaranteed by 4 pairs of bearings (upper and lower) which, set at great distance, slide on guides made of treated and ground steel.
