The FEM-optimised discs are layered to form a disc pack with high torsional stiffness. The clamping hubs are made of lightweight, high-strength aluminium. A combination that will turn your servo system into a perfect unit. The design of the laminae package itself is calculated and optimised on the basis of FEM analyses. Layered, flexurally elastic discs made of stainless steel form a disc pack with pronounced torsional stiffness and torque transmission capacity. This enables the use in servo drives in the high performance range. The product range of the servo lamina coupling covers a nominal torque range of up to 250 Nm. Dynamic drive applications with frequent start-stop and reversing operation, where absolute positioning accuracy comes to the fore, are the forte of the Servoflex coupling. As a result of its structure made of lightweight aluminium components combined with a torsionally stiff yet flexible disc pack, this backlash-free coupling features a lightweight design along with high torsional stiffness, while ensuring effective compensation for any shaft misalignments that may occur.
