The SCHMIDT® Slide tables represent an excellent solution for applications involving press systems with high forces and highly accurate positioning against an adjustable stop. This cost-effective model is ideal for tall parts and for placing parts outside of the danger zone. Depending on the type these units can be mounted in pairs longitudinally or laterally, as well as adjusted for use in automated processes. They feature cross roller bearings, for high-precision guidance, play-free adjustment of the table guidance, pneumatic cylinders to maintain working position (or facilitate positioning in automatic mode), integrated sensors for slide table position detection and shock absorbers at end positions. The press stroke can be activated only if slide is located in the proper position.
