Description
ID whirling tools are used mainly in the orthopedic and dental industries to efficiently manufacture internal threads, particularly in bone screws and bone plates. Standard sizes M1 to M5 and ANSI are available from stock, specials (ACME, Buttress) upon request. The ID whirling process is similar to the OD whirling process as the main spindle is running at low rpm's while the tool is running at high rpm's.
