Description
Thread whirling with the Schwanog system offers the advantage of working with insertable tools. Many whirling attachments can be equipped with the 3 piece Schwanog cutter body assembly which enables its user to quick change between the WEP and DCI whirling systems. The DCI system is applied for extended part cycle times or increased tool life when compared to the WEP system.
The DCI system adapts either 9 or 12 cutters, each cutter with 2 cutting edges
