BladeStop™ protects the operator in two ways. Our unique Body-Sensing Technology monitors the entire body of the operator. BladeStop™ was always our primary safety system for reducing serious injuries by mechanically stopping the blade. BladeStop™ detects the skin of an operator coming in contact with the blade and stops the blade in milliseconds. BladeStop™ can make the difference between a minor cut and an amputation! Along with touch sensing capability, BladeStop™ is also supplied with the GloveCheck™ Sensing System. GloveCheck™ was developed by Scott as a solution to further reduce the risk of serious injury. Upon Glove detection, the BladeStop™ Braking-Mechanism stops the blade even before an operator comes into contact with it.
