The Scott Dixie Mixers mimic “traditional” technology and flow characteristics of our Turbon mixer, but with less shear. Ingredients enter the chambers through the side, and flow-out through a the larger diameter cage. This flow characteristic induces a medium shear effect with maximum flow.
Our Dixie Mixer is capable of producing loose emulsions that can be used as is or polished with our Inline Mill. The slow speeds and large pumping orifices allow particulate to retain size.
