Description

Application : to move passive cars, installations on swivel wheels, to move scaffolding e.g. around planes, towing tractor,... Seaqx omni-directional towing unit is a puller to move passive loads on swivel wheels/castors. The load can be a passive car, scaffolding or other installations on wheels. With a single OTU a whole production can be mobilized. The OTU is equipped with 2 steerable drives to make it fully omni-directional. Thanks to its high available traction force the passive load can be driven around in a comfortable and secure way. The PMAC-steerable drives (a Seaqx dessign) allows for extremely accurate positioning of the car. 2 Lifting friction grippers on the OTU will make contact with a simple steel bottom plate underneath the passive load. Once in contact, friction between the gripper and the plate makes it possible to move the car. This simple but effective method reduces connection docking time considerably. A new important feature is the newly, in-house-developed steering configuration with the radio remote control. Features : - high traction force : 2x 500kg to move 8T - high available speed : empty up to 75m/min, loaded up to 50m/min - positioning accuracy : within 10mm - battery driven - maintenance-free batteries - clean, no hydraulics - radio remote controlled - adaptable dimensions - low building height
