The newest 60TONS-pallet transporter is designed to carry a frame with the next generation of Rolls Royce jet engines. The transporter has a load capacity of 60TONS, is battery powered and radio remote controlled. Thanks to the available traction force, the transporter with load can cross steps up to 25mm and drive over slopes of 3%. Despite these floor variations, the transporter can maintain its speed of 20m/min at all times. 2 Seaqx synchronized pumps do lift the complete load simultaneously. A shift of the location of the center of gravity has no effect on the lifting speed of 1 of the 4 lifting jacks. The transporter can follow a contrast line & slow down & stop at certain marks. With the 'pallet-positioning-assistant', the transporter is guided automatically under the pallet. The transporter stops at the correct position, with the 4 lifting jacks exactly positioned under the interface-pads of the pallet. The transporter is a robust design which requires little or no maintenance.
