Precipitation sensor with tilting scales and pulse output (1 pulse = 0.1 l /m²)
Robust, lockable, cast aluminum housing to protect against unauthorised access
15 watt hopper heating for defrosting of solid precipitates (optional)
Interior heating for winter operation (optional)
Robust and proven:
The RG 100 is a reliable rain gauge with an impact-resistant, lockable cast aluminum housing. The interior offers - among other advantages - enough space to accommodate a 5-litre collecting receptacle.
Modular:
The RG100 can be individually configured according to the respective locations and wishes of the measurement net operator. For winter operation, the conductive hopper heating is available for the defrosting and removing of solid precipitation (snow, sleet, hail). Installation is possible with a 2" mounting column or on a stand (which provides additional space for equipment). For storage of measured tipping scale pulses, and thus the rainfall intensity and volume, the use of battery-powered SEBA data collector is recommended. the UniLog-Light-R, owing to its pocket format, can be conveniently placed within the aluminum housing of the RG100. In conjunction with the radio modem GSM742 data transmission and alerting is feasible. Using pulse /current transformers to connect the RG 100 to existing process control systems is also possible.
