Mask breathing resistance test device "Boreas" is to test filtering half-masks, filtering self-rescuer, full-face masks, RPE with aerosol and gas filters with an insulating front part according to EN 136, EN 140, EN 143, EN 149, EN 405, and EN 1827
Operation:
Test device creates constant air flow through the filtering RPE in the directions of "exhalation" and "inhalation" and measures the air pressure difference between the surrounding atmosphere and the mask space of the RPE, calculates the resistance to air flow.

Boreas has no restrictions in modes and can create an air flow with any value of volume flow within:
• - from 30 to 160 dm3 / min in the "exhalation" mode
• - from 30 to 125 dm3 / min in the "inspiration" mode
For your convenience, the device contains ready-made modes according to the standards: 90 and 160 dm3/min.
2) Ergonomic design and mobility
Boreas is made of an inflatable head dummy with a silicone soft-touch coating and creates an ideal obturation with any face pieces .
The device can even be placed on a desk, it is easy to move and can be tilted 90 degrees.
