The Plastic Diaphragm valve Type 186 features an optical indicator and encapsulated diaphragm. The type 186 is ideal for wash downs due to its smooth exterior design and the actuator high resistance from heat transfer. The outside diameter of the actuator is the same size as the bonnet flange because of its compact design. Control air connection is at 90° to flow direction for side by side or other installations saving space. The universal use of Type 186 is for water hammer elimination, hermetic sealing, cavity free body, without any corrosion. The flow can be in either direction and lastly it always depends on the diaphragm material, for all neutral and aggressive, gaseous and liquid media.
