The Type 285 is a pneumatically operated valve that has a plastic diaphragm actuator directly attached with the valve base. It has a compact design and low weight for the convenient of the customer. the actuator has a high resistance to heat transmission. The smooth exterior design intended for wash downs. It has also covered diaphragm and control air connection of 90° to flow direction. It eliminates water hammer and it's depending on the diaphragm material, for all neutral and aggressive, gaseous and liquid media. It has a hermetic sealing and cavity free body. The valve is unaffected by contaminated media.
