The type 482 is a plastic diaphragm valve manufactured by SED. The valve is constructed in a compact design, which allows the outside diameter of the actuator measure the same as the bonnet flange. It also features a smooth exterior design suitable for wash downs. Furthermore, the device is equipped with an enclosed diaphragm. The body of the valve is made with cavity-free materials to prevent corrosion. A plastic piston actuator can be mounted directly to the valve body.
