The continuous power heating cable is designed to deliver excellent results by incorporating an equal specific charge across the complete length of the cable. This facilitates obtaining required specific power values that are unaffected by the length of the cable used in the application.
The cables are structured by winding the cable to the phase and to the neutral wires which extrude an anti-laceration silicone-insulated wire. A 10mm silicone insulation segment is cut away after every 500mm, thereby creating electrical contact points. The silicone insulation is transparent so that the cut points are clearly visible.
The cables are available in wound coils which can be cut and finished as per requirement and application, with the aid of an accessory kit, available with the cable. A specialized metal braid can be integrated into the outer insulation, in order to provide a high level of resilience to mechanical strain and to enhance the heat distribution performances. It is an excellent substitute for grounding.
