Two-shaft shredders of Stokkermill's D-series are suitable for the volumetric reductions of general waste, waste from the food industry, packaging waste, wood waste, biomass processing and for all activities those require shredding even significant amounts of light and medium weight bulky materials. The range of D-series two-shaft electric shredders consists of four models with power ratings from 5.5 kw to 37 kw made with gearbox and mechanical transmission. The rotor lengths vary from 500 to 1000 mm for the D60 model. Special executions, with rotors of larger size, can be made upon specific request. The loading hopper and supports can be designed and manufactured in accordance with the specific requirements of the end users. The two-shaft shredders are equipped with an external control panel, with Schneider Electronic components, which includes a PLC to control the operating parameters and the stop and reverse values of the rotors in case of accidental overloading. The quality of construction and materials used, UE or US electric motors, SKF bearings and Schneider electronic parts, guarantee the durability and efficiency of the shredder even under severe working conditions.
