The R-KEY-LT is a compact and robust Modbus gateway capable of transmitting signals between ModBUS TCP-IP/ ModBUS RTU in different modes, effectively increasing the number of nodes that can be connected and the distances that can be reached in the network thanks to 5 operating modes. The device can also extend the serial network by operating as a Remote virtual COM transparent to the serial communication protocol. It supports up to 8 simultaneous Modbus TCP-IP clients, with a maximum of 10 Modbus TCP-IP servers. With this model, serial Modbus slave devices can be integrated into an existing Modbus TCP-IP network, as well as Modbus TCP-IP slave devices can be made accessible to serial masters. R-KEY-LT can be configured via a web server and software. It features Vac/dc power supply on the same hardware, 1.5 kVac isolation, extended temperature range. The device can be powered at 12V or 24V.
