Applications: Senor Nickel provides higher mechanical properties making this suitable for build-up and overlay applications such as gear teeth, bearings, and valve seats. The silicon addition helps prevent fuming (Zinc vaporization). The weld deposits have a very high tensile strength, good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. These are used to braze weld steel and cast iron. The deposit provides a good color match to these metals.
