The SFM3300-AW mass flow meter is able to withstand autoclave procedures, making it autoclavable, cleanable and therefore reusable. The sensor can be used completely bidirectional und measures flow rates up to 250 slm in both directions. Thus, the SFM3300-AW is highly suited to proximal flow measurements in medical ventilation and other respiratory applications. The special design of the flow channel results in a small dead space and the slightly higher pressure drop leads to a lower dependency on different inlet conditions. Like all Sensirion sensors, the outstanding performance of the SFM3300-AW is based on the innovative CMOSens® Technology, which combines the sensor element and the analysis electronics on a single CMOS microchip. Thus, the CMOSens® gas flow sensor measures long-term stable and noise-free and a very fast and highly precise sensor signal results.
