Description

New for 2020 is the TorqSense Digital rotary strain gauge series 531 Transducers which use non contact technology eliminating the need for noisy slip rings. The torque sensors are suitable for torque measuring, testing, feedback control of drive mechanisms and process control applications. The SGR series transducers use modern strain gauge signal conditioning techniques to provide a high bandwidth low cost torque measuring solution with high overrange and overload capabilities. Key Points & Features • Measuring range 1Nm to 13000Nm • Accuracy of ±0.2% • Separate digital electronics • Large fully functional overrange capability up to 250% • Low errors due to off axis forces • Low linearity deviation of ≤ ± 0.1 % FSD • Low hysteresis error of ≤ ± 0.1 % FSD • Zero variation in torque signal with rotation (cyclic variation) • No slip rings to wear out • High digital sample rate of 4000 samples per second • Speed measurement / Power computation options • Wide power supply range 12-32 VDC • Built in test function SGR531 Specifications: • Torque and Speed measurement (select Speed range at order) • 60 pulse per revolution speed encoder • Voltage outputs for torque and speed +/-5V (options of +/-1V and +/-10V) • Optional Current outputs: 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 12mA+/-8mA • Accuracy +/-0.2% full scale • Resolution 0.01% full scale • 3dB bandwidth - 250hz • 400% overload rating
