Trough hole annular heavy capacity load cell Reference : Custom-made standard load cell with high accuracy and large dimensions designed for an official European civil engineering materials testing labotary. Tubular in shape, its dimensions were defined on the basis of the customer's testing machine. The hardness of the bearing surfaces, the choice of steels and their heat treatments have been defined according to the required accuracy. A set of rings and holding rods allows for handling. The primary application of this sensor is for studying the tension and fatigue strength of civil engineering structures such as bridges.
