Description

The PRVA type is a valid alternative to the PRVR type with scraper and is particularly recommended for the water with considerable loads of sludge and floating materials. The bridge consists of a mobile girder used as a walkway, a couple of lateral sliding trolleys, a sludge removal system a surface scraper system for the scum removal, a gear motor for the lateral trolley driving, a control unit for the articulated bottom scraper-skimming blade system and a control panel. The gear motor and the control unit are fitted on in correspondence of the bridge centerline. The water goes in from one of the short side of the tank. The sludge removal system is siphon type and is directly driven by the bridge. The standard supply includes the aspirator for the siphon activation, valves, piping, solenoid valves and miscellaneous material. On request, the sludge suction system can be with submersible pump or with air-lift. The floating materials are gathered by the surface scraper at one of the two stages. The control panel is located on the bridge and is complete with devices for the manual and automatic operation. The protection against overloads is carried out by a control system which periodically controls the bridge working cycle.
