The EC65 crimping unit is the ideal machine for safely crimping loose connectors of the following types : - pre-insulated and bare terminals and clips up to 6 mm2 / 10 AWG, - tubular and open barrel terminals, - flat end ferrules up to 6 mm2 / 10 AWG, - end sleeves This compact, lightweight and robust device is perfectly suited to use in the workshop. The EC65 can be used in two different production modes: - Mode 1 enables rapid crimping with a single press of the foot pedal. - Mode 2 breaks down the crimping operation into 2 stages: pressing the foot pedal once holds the connector in the clamp to ensure the cable is correctly positioned; pressing the foot pedal a second time triggers the crimping operation. Mode 2 is generally used for the most delicate applications. The crimping force is limited to ensure that all the safety conditions required to close the dies are met. The power of the press can be adjusted for each type of terminal to guarantee the crimping specifications. Numerous standard dies are available, as well as specific dies. Only available in France.
