The VARICON COMPACT metal detection system is used for the inspection of piece goods in the food industry. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminations (especially iron, stainless steel, and aluminum) even if such contaminations are enclosed in the product. The belt-stop function stops the conveyor belt when a metal contamination is detected.
