STEEL FIBRE PROPORTIONING FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION SKAKO steel fibre proportioning system is a complete storage silo and proportioning plant which makes manual proportioning unnecessary. The system is designed in such a way that the steel fibres are unravelled completely before they are discharged into the mixer. The fibres are proportioned directly into the mixer or by means of truck, skip hoist, intermediate hopper or belt conveyor. l Exact weighing l Complete loosening of fibres l Fully automatic process l Good distribution of fibres during proportioning l Compact design The storage silo is open and suitable for filling with big bags, sacks or cartons. During proportioning the entire silo moves, ensuring that all fibres in the silo are loosened completely, no matter how full the silo is. The weigh system functions as both weigh hopper and transport equipment with continuously variable discharging speed.
