Miniload ASRS system 1. Product Description: Mini-Load AS/RS systems are smaller systems and typically allow selection of items in totes, trays or cartons. Other terms used to describe a Mini-Load AS/RS system is“case-handling machine”or“tote stacker.” Mini-Load systems are usually 12m high. Mini-Load AS/RS are for smaller items such as documents and books, small parts, order fulfillment and smaller systems in freezers for the food industry. Mini-Load systems are tailored to a customer’s product and specially engineered. 2. Product Specifications The benefits of a fixed aisle miniload AS/RS system include the minimized amount of space required and the reduced labor needed to store and retrieve materials. With proper engineering, warehouse productivity can be increased substantially. They can also be adapted for use in freezers and other harsh environments that can create hazardous conditions for workers. Because of the computer technology involved AS/RS can create a very accurate form of inventory control. Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems use computer controlled systems to pick instead of manual labor. Mini-Load systems are for small loads. The beam deflection depends on the applied racking class: (Class 100): L/300 or max. 10mm // (Class 200): L/200 or max. 15mm. ◇ The racking is braced in horizontal and vertical directions. ◇ The frames are top-tied by a portal beam. ◇ At both ends run-outs are provided. ◇ The footplates are fine adjusted and supported by a non-shrinkage grouting. ◇ Safety fencing with interlock-doors and back cladding ensure safe working conditions.
