1、Description
IPS series inductive proximity switch is also named non-contact switch, or static position switch. The oscillator of the switch is consists of the coil and other elements. The inductive probe creates an alternating field when the oscillator. When metal target enters the field, the eddy current induced in the metal target, which will cause blocking of oscillator, or small oscillation. And the signal will be shaped, amplified and converted to electrical signal, which will drive the switch tube on and cut-off to realize the detection.
It will create signal when the object approach the proximity switch without external force. IPS series inductive proximity switch has more functions, not just limited to the distance control and limit position protection. The proximity switch can be used for high speed counting, metal detection, speed measurement, level control, and components size measurement and used as contactless button, etc.
