The key to the SADP-D portable dewpoint meter is the combination of the unique desiccant head chamber assembly, dewpoint sensor and AutoCal function. The unique assembly of the desiccant head and sensor, designed by Shaw Moisture Meters, keeps the sensor dry between tests. Thereby ensuring the dewpoint meter is always available for rapid spot check measurements of trace moisture. Check the sensor is in equilibrium by using the AutoCal function. Expose the sensor to any atmosphere which is wetter than its operating range. Then adjust via the calibration potentiometer control on the front panel. Perform AutoCal in-situ without any special training or equipment. Reduce downtime and gain immediate verification of the system. Note the absence of dials, calibrating, cooling and servicing as required by some other methods. This is because the automatic dry down technology ensures a quick response from the dewpoint sensor. The SADP digital dewpoint meter is simple to use. Blocking the outlet with a finger for a moment, raises the measurement head and allows the speedy measurement of the sample gas/air.
