Custom PTFE Diaphragms
The PTFE diaphragm molding process begins with blanks being machined from compression-molded Virgin PTFE rod. The blanks are then thermally formed in matched die sets and trimmed to your specifications and tolerances. The plastic component manufacturing processes that we employ dramatically improve the flexibility and flex life of the custom PTFE diaphragm. Diaphragm material choices include Virgin PTFE and Modified PTFE, Modified PTFE is conventional PTFE whose characteristics have been chemically altered; it is translucent and offers improved flex life and lower void content.
PTFE Diaphragm is widely used in Oil chemical industries, Coal industries, paper making, weave, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) offer the ultimate chemical resistance and purity. Our PTFE diaphragms are extremely chemically resistant, often used with heptane and methyl chloride.
