The series of EC-600 coating thickness gauges can be used to measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals and non-magnetic insulating coatings on ferromagnetic metals (such as iron, nickel and cobalt, etc.). They are mainly used for non-destructive thickness measurement for the coatings of paint or galvanized layers on iron and stainless steel, paint or plastic film on aluminum and copper, etc.
EC-600 is with internal probe combined with magnetic induction and eddy currents principle, which is with measuring range of 0~2000μm and accuracy of ±(3%+1μm), and the highest resolution is up to 0.1μm.
EC-600 is only with one button, and it is easy to operate. When you start measurement, place the probe vertically and rapidly on a suitable surface, then the device will automatically distinguish the substrate material and measure the thickness of coatings.
EC-600X optimizes the principle on the basis of EC-600, and uses OLED display to enhance the low temperature working performance. Under the condition of using low temperature resistant battery, the extreme working temperature of EC-600X can reach -50℃.
On the basic of EC-600, EC-600S is upgraded its probe and accuracy, and added new functions. The EC-600S is with stronger anti-interference ability compared with EC-600, and it can work in the high electromagnetic fields environment.
