Differential Axle Breather for Drivetrain
Differentials Transmission and Transfer Case of 4WD Vehicles
Quick Details
The reason why need to use Milvent Differential Breather:
1. The ventilation valve used in the chassis gearbox of existing off-road vehicles is usually a one-way valve. When passing through water, the originally hot chamber will experience negative pressure and reverse suction of external water. There is a chance that water will be sucked into the expensive gearbox, mixed with mud and debris, which will cause damage to the gearbox
2. The existing ARB can change its position through a connecting pipe to prevent the one-way valve of the chassis from being sucked into water. At that time, when water reaches a higher position or even reaches the ARB position, water will still enter the pipeline and cause damage to the gearbox. In addition, the ARB valve itself cannot reach the IP67, IP68, and IP69K car level flushing tests, That is to say, flushing the engine during car washing may suck in or flush the impacted water into the valve body, causing damage to the transmission.
3.Base on above reason, MILVENT has made improvements to the above issues and invented a bidirectional valve, which can meet the waterproof tests of IP68 and IP69K. The bidirectional valve can still suck external air into the gearbox cavity after being submerged in water, without sucking water into the cavity.
MILVENT is a Vent and Valve differential Breather Design and Manufacturer for more than 10years.
