Wance has manufactured this series of pendulum impact testing machines, designed to determine the impact resistance of metallic materials under changing loads. This series is developed for sufficient accuracy, simplicity of design, ease of operation, and safety. It executes general notched-bar impact tests.
It is designed with a force transducer, and an accurate data sampling and measurement system. The unit is a solution to the instrumented-impact tests, conforming to international standards.
The standards the device follows are ASTM E23, ASTM E1820, ASTM E2298, ISO 148, EN10045, GB/T 3808, GB/T 229, JJG145 and JJG 609. It comes with low temperature chamber, which can operate impact tests under ambient temperatures reaching -180 ℃.
The basic model includes a large steel base, upon which the specimen holder (anvil) and a heavy-duty cast steel upright are placed. It is also designed with a maximum impact energy of 750J, 600J, 450J and 300J.
