The SS4000M is a miniature tension/compression S beam load cell manufactured by Sherborne Sensors. This device is intended for tension or compression operations and is practical for applications where there is limited space. The inner construction is made up of a complete bridge of transducer strain gauges which are bonded to the element of the transducer. This element is made of a durable aluminum alloy or stainless steel which depends on the force range. Its design includes a side load as well as a bending moment rejection. It is available with optimized OEM versions to be used for high volume operations.
