This is a horizontal turning lathe that is used for precise grooving on the roll for optical sheet molding.
The following features are equipped to obtain high-precision machine movement and machining accuracy.
High-precision machine movement and machining accuracy
By using linear motors for X and Z axes, servo stiffness is increased, and irregular feeding and quadrant projections are decreased to enable smooth feeding.
X and Z guide ways are the roller guide way where selected rollers are aligned on the high-precision lapped V-V surface.
This therefore achieves smooth and high-precision movement and high stiffness.
The spindle motor integrates the synchronized built-in servo motor and uses high-precision encoder. Therefore, when the spindle is used as the indexing axis (C-axis), mechanical play is eliminated and high-precision indexing and positioning are possible.
High-precision hydrostatic bearing (spindle, C-axis)
Hydrostatic bearings are applied for the spindle to support the roll, and high rotational accuracy can be obtained.
Also, the high-precision temperature controller controls the temperature of hydrostatic oil to make the bearing stable.
High-precision air-hydrostatic bearing (B-axis)
The slewing bearing on the tool rest uses the synchronized built-in servo motor and high-precision encoder in the same way as the high-speed rotating air bearing and the spindle in order to ensure high-precision positioning.
Less affected structure by thermal deformation caused by environment change and heat generated by the drive system
