The AG-Xplus Series of universal testing machines (UTM) is capable of performing very fast testing cycles, due to the option of selecting a 5 kN max, HS table-top type that has return and crosshead speed of 3,300 and 3,000 mm/min, respectively, allowing faster testing of elastic specimens (like rubber). The short column type (model SC) represents an excellent solution for compression tests on small parts, like electrical and electronic components. The 700 mm testing space and height of 1,130 mm make it ideal for use in confined areas. This model also features power-standby mode, that reduces environmental impact by lowering power consumption from 10 to 25% (based on frame capacity), cutting CO2 emissions. Additionally, this unit is capable of real time auto-tuning of control parameters (depending on the stress and strain data obtained during testing) and comparing unknown sample data, without any pre-testing.
