LCMS-8040 LC/MS/MS System is integrated with innovative ion optics and collision cell technology so there will be higher multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) sensitivity. This improvement can be used for scan mode measurements, thereby widening the potential range of LC/MS/MS applications. The improvement is remarkable because there is a five-fold increase in sensitivity and with considerable minimizing on the ion losses between multi-pole lenses. Scan mode measurements are thus made with higher sensitivity. LCMS-8040 is a model that can provide excellent sensitivity and still maintain the high speed delivered by LCMS-8030. The main features of the device are the super-fast MRM transition speeds, thanks to Shimadzu’s UFsweeper™ collision cell technology, high-precision quadrupole machining capabilities and innovative high voltage power supply technology.
