The software uses notched specimens (CT specimens) to evaluate the material elasto-plastic fracture toughness value (JIC). The test is conducted at constant loading rate under test-force control or CTOD control and the load is removed to calculate the crack length. The software plots graphs of the crack length increase (Δa) and crack growth resistance (J value) from the acquired data, calculates the JIC value, and evaluates its validity.
M.P. (Multipurpose) Test Package
Supports Complicated Measurement & Control
This test package supports almost all type of tests that involves complex measurement and control, such as programmed loading using combinations of different waveform and multi-axis control...
Fatigue Test Package
Evaluation of Cycle Fatigue
This software applies cycle load to specimens and evaluates cycle fatigue. It supports all testing from low- through to high-cycle fatigue testing...
Static Test Package
Evaluation of Static Strength
This package supports all tensile, compression and bending static testing. Two or more control modes (e.g. stress/strain) and load speeds can be selected...
Crack Growth Test Package
Evaluation of Relationship between Crack Growth Rate and ΔK Value
Logical operation functions smoothly control the ΔK value to enable the evaluation of crack growth properties. This package can also be used for introducing pre-cracking of specimens in compliance with KIC and JIC fracture toughness standards...
KIC/COD Test Package
Calculation of KIC/COD Values
This package can conduct tests compliant with standards to calculate the KIC value and judge its validity. It can also evaluate the COD value...
