Hot water operated absorption chiller is a kind of large-size industrial or commercial chilling unit with hot water as the driving energy, lithium bromide solution as the absorbent and water as refrigerant. Depending on hot water temperature, Shuangliang provide full range options of double effect chiller, single stage hot water chiller, two stage hot water chiller, low hot water temperature chiller, two lift hot water chiller to cater different clients’ needs and different working conditions. Double Effect Hot Water Chiller If the hot water temperature can reach above 160deg.c, it can be used for double effect chiller which has higher COP. This application is used for some clients who has ready piping hot water. Shuangliang actually made the 1st double effect hot water chiller in the world for Zurick University Hospital. Single Stage Hot Water Chiller Single stage hot water chiller can be used in many cases wherever the 90-130 deg.c hot water is available, especially from waste heat recovery, from which we can generate the chilling for industrial or commercial application free of cost. Because power consumption of absorption chiller is negligible compared with electrical chiller. Two Stage Hot Water Chiller If hot water temperature is lower or client wants to recover more heat from hot water (means hot water return temperature is lower or delta T is bigger), depends on different cases, two stage hot water chiller will be the best option.
