High productivity automatic planetary saws can be used for short rigid HD- PE and PP-R pipes. This device comes with two independent cutting units. The distance between the two is controlled electronically and it is possible to adjusted them in real time. This helps allow double cycles of simultaneous cutting, leading to increase in production rates. It also comes with electronic synchronization and CNC control system for automatically adjusting carriage speed. This would be in response to the change in extrusion speed. The machine’s logic is also amenable to the cutting on the fly, increasing the number of cuts that can be done. The device has many programming options. Basic parameters such as extrusion speed, product characteristics and capacity of downstream machines are decided. After this adjustment, the production lots can be planned and be automatically optimized by the system. The device offers swarfless cutting system as no chips and dust are produced inside the pipe as well as inside the machine, during the cutting process.
