MgF2 window
Magnesium fluoride crystals have excellent optical and mechanical properties. Its transmittance wavelength is from 0.11μm~7.5μm. The optical components such as windows, lenses and prisms made by Yasi are widely used in ultraviolet and infrared optical systems which requires durability under different environments. Magnesium fluoride crystals have birefringence effect caused by optical anisotropy which makes it used as polarizing elements.
